I think many of us that are somewhat deep thinkers often have seen it to be strange that the LGTBQ2+AA etc crowd were foolish enough to use PRIDE as their moniker, their slogan whatever they want to call it. It stands in such a direct contrast to everything GOD says He hates. The number one sin that causes all our problems and is invariably at the root of every sin is the sin of pride.

Unlike the Flood of Noah where God said he would no more destroy the whole earth with water, this entire area was made desolate and remains that way unto this day. God never said He would not destroy a nation if it condoned the activity that the cities of the plain condoned. So there is no restriction placed on the possible destruction of an area or a nation that allows wanton sin and deviate sexual activity to become part of their written laws.
In this ignorance of of basic human anatomy and design the United States is not alone. There are many progressive nations that have adopted the “same sex” agenda, recognizing marriages between homosexual couples, something that once was considered to be a mental issue has now become a mainstream and “accepted” lifestyle. The liars in this community claim they were “born this way”, yet serious research shoots this ignorance in the foot. The problem with research is there is always some hack that refutes the real research so the truth is never believed, or taken seriously.
In this country it seems you are less important to the loons in power if you are a “normal straight” person. The political clout seems to hang with the purveyors of perversion. I will wait to see if my fellow Christian Trump supporters will backlash him a bit for his recent tweets about the downtrodden LGTB community…or that our ambassador to Germany Mike Grenell is trying to decriminalize homosexuality worldwide….and Mike Pence is fully onboard with this effort….It seems on this issue a lot of “Christian” supporters of Trump are rather silent.
Back to Genesis 19, remember what the perverts wanted to do to the angelic visitors that came to rescue Lot and his family, they surrounded the house and demanded the men be sent out so these perverts could rape them, even after total blindness befell them these devils banged on the house seeking the door to break in and do their dirty business. They were militant, they were destructive and they were focused on their disgusting lusts, they also paid a price.
It seems we are bombarded by visual images from our TV screens that want us to accept this vulgar lifestyle and see homosexuality as just another choice for people to make, “everyone has the right to be in love” is a mantra that gets passed around like candy to children. No matter how perverse and disgraceful it is they want us all to accept the “Normalcy” of it, even though it is not normal, it is unhealthy and dangerous.
Our “churches” even got in on the act, redesigning God’s Word to fit this debased lifestyle choice, many mainline denominations are accepting “gay clergy” performing gay marriages, and actually having conferences to vote on the “agenda”…..WHY?…Is God not very clear on this subject? Jesus said a marriage was between man and woman, anything else is not the plan of God it is the imagination of man, and a desire for man to follow his lusts.
So we picked the 6th month of the Gregorian calendar to celebrate queer issues, 6 the number of man, it seems almost fitting. And like I stated above America is not alone in this ignorance, Israel is one of the big attractions for the gay community as well, you would think the Dead Sea area would be a constant reminder to them how God views this debauched lifestyle. There is still chunks of “brimstone” laying about to this very day. Yet we must be progressive and accepting, don’t we? The answer is no.
I am not one that advocates any form of violence against these people, that is a sin as wrong as what they are engaged in. No sin goes unpunished, God is very direct and easy to understand on this. The wages of sin is death….we need to be very cognizant of that fact. Sodom and the cities of the plain were engaged in many sins and sinful behavior, I am sure they had their version of the casinos, and violent entertainment to quench their many thirsts, A segment of Romans 1 is supplied below to remind us that no sin is acceptable, yet we don’t really have a month set aside for Gambling pride, or drinking pride, there is n’t even a heterosexual pride month. No, the world just wants us to accept queer lifestyle and created an entire month for it to be flaunted….
As our world pushes to become an inclusive entity in the PRIDE movement, those of us that will not tolerate the insanity are going to be marginalized and possibly even criminalized. There could be sanctions drawn up to keep us from participating in the programs we have paid into all our lives, Social security and the like. If you aren’t accepting of all the gay agenda your very livelihood may be taken away, it has already happened….bakers and florists. We are on a precipice that is very precarious, we need to be ready for what is next to happen.
God promised Noah that the world would not be destroyed by flood again, in the book of 2nd Peter we see the earth being burnt up with a “fervent heat” this is a different type of destruction than we saw in Genesis 19, there the destruction was targeted and pinpoint. It was actual fireballs from heaven crashing into a specific area. Her in Peter’s letter it is a worldwide destruction that will probably be instantaneous, a vaporizing of the elements in totality.
In this warning of impending destruction we see a very sobering exclamation and a call to righteousness, not a word to act like the world, not a salutation of “do as thou wishes” NO there is a very though provoking message put forth here, one that every human should take into account, especially those of us that count Christ as our Savior and Lord of our lives, Peter has this inspired word for all
2 Peter 3:11 KJV – “Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,”
This may not be a popular message, we all need to stand firm, plant our feet solidly on the Rock and not sway. We don’t need to hoist up hateful signs about God’s judgement on these people, as Christians we are only to try and win as many souls for the Kingdom as we possibly can. We can only do that by being truthful, and through much prayer for those that are lost.
In light of all this forgive me if I do not celebrate Pride month or anything to do with it….
